Food and Skincare -Rice Powder and Besan (Gram Flour)-

Food and skincare go hand in hand.
What you put into your body affects how your skin looks and feels. So, what are some food items that will help you achieve a healthy, glowing complexion? 
There are few food products available which are good for external uses too?

Rice Powder and Gram Flour are two of the most commonly used ingredients in Indian cooking. They are proven great for skin care too. The power of these two ingredients lies in their high levels of protein, which helps promote skin repair and renewal, and their moisturizing properties is top notch.

Rice powder for face is a best exfoliator it can be used for various skin concerns, like whitening, getting rid of acne and blemishes and even dark circles, just pair it with necessary amount of Rose water and use it as a skin scrub daily, to see wonders!

Gram flour on the other hand has been used to de-tan and brighten one's skin tone, and its powerful cleaning capabilities leave your face looking its finest. Just mix equal proportions of Besan/gram flour, yoghurt (for oily skin) or raw milk (for dry skin), making a smooth paste. Apply this mixture all over the face and neck area. Let it dry for 20-30 minutes and wash off with cold water.

Additional tip for keeping your skin hydrated and beautiful is drinking lots of water!
