Rakhi strings are string-like bracelets given to loved ones during the Indian festival Raksha Bhandhan. They are given by sisters to brothers and cousins, tying them on their arms with affection.
This is a Rakhi crafted from a blend of crimson and gold threads. Its centerpiece features intricately woven white and green bead balls, gold metal balls, and rondelle beads set with crystals and red stones, creating a design that is both detailed and magnificently festive.
It is a rough string that has just been cut, and the long string is wrapped around the wrist twice or three times to prevent it from sagging, and the end of the string is pinched in place to secure it. You can also tie it like a friendship bracelet.
