Rabri is a delectable dessert made by simmering milk until it reduces to a thick, creamy consistency, then sweetened with sugar and infused with aromatic cardamom, saffron, and rose water. Garnished with pistachios and almonds, it offers a rich and luxurious flavor profile.

Rabri can be enjoyed either cold or warm and pairs exceptionally well with other mithai such as jalebi and Indian pancakes (malpua).

How to Enjoy:
  • Great to be served as a drizzle over sweets like gulab jamun and jalebi, or as a complement to baked goods such as ghewar, puri, and paratha.
  • Additionally, it makes a delightful sauce for Indian iced kulfi and parfaits like falooda.
Commonly Eaten In: Uttar Pradesh
